To get started, we're going to provide you with the rules and the policies we expect you to follow in the forum. We will not hesitate to enforce them, but if you follow them, we should have no problem. However... If you decide to be a ne'er-do-well... We will have a problem, and you will most likely be banned from the forum entirely~. Better safe than sorry, right? Right. Now get reading you adorable little rag-a-muffin, you.
literacy;; Because we are a literate roleplay group, we expect nothing short of a good, beefy post. The minimum posting requirement is at least two paragraphs with good grammar, spelling, punctuation, etc. We understand the ocassional typo, so we won't be biting your head off for something like that. We recommend proofreading, though.
diversity;; We love diversity! Make your character unique & have them stand out. Or you can make them a wallflower, so long as they have some originality to them. We'd like to see some creativity and whatnot.
godmoding and powerplaying;; Okay, here is where it gets a little tricky. We're sure you're familiar with the terms, so if you need someone to define them, ask on the roleplay boards, not here. So here's how it's going to go down. Attacks will do a realistic amount of damage. A higher level Digimon is more likely to win in a fight. There are no auto-hits. You cannot dodge every attack. Humans can get hurt.
violence;; Violence is fine as long as it does not exceed a certain limit. We cannot have super gorey posts going into our message board, so be mindful of how graphic you are. Considering this is Digimon, we don't expect too much of it. Even so, this rule will stay in play.
romance;; Romance is also fine, but again, do not go over what a typical pre-teen does. You can be as mushy and gushy and loveydovey as you want, but we really don't want any "tucked-in-bed" scenes. Especially since a majority of the characters are kids. I mean, really.
swearing;; Swearing needs to be considerate, not very many people drop bombs of swears in every sentence at their age. Honestly, we don't recommend it. But as long as you can don't over do it, it's fine.
banned digimon;; Yes, we have a list of banned Digimon. Due to either ruling the Digital World, or simply being too powerful, we are placing a ban on some Digimon. Banned Digimon include Azulongmon, Zhuqiaomon, Baihumon, Ebonwumon, Lucemon, Leviamon, Daemon, Belphemon, Barbamon, Beelzemon, Lilithmon, and Ogudomon. Digimon that Digivolve into the Royal Knights, Olympus Twelve, or Devas are permissible as those three groups will be considered regular Mega level Digimon.
art thievery;; We have a strict rule on art thievery. It is not tolerated AT ALL and will result in immediate banishment. If you use art that is NOT made by you, then you MUST give credit to the original artist. If you do not know who the artist is, do not claim it as your own. Just state where you found it and state that it was not made by you. Tracing is considered a form of art theft.
original digimon;; Yep, we're allowing fake Digimon. It's not exactly recommended, but it's allowed. You can use art by another artist, so long as you follow the above rule on art thievery. If you choose to use another artist's Digimon, however, you MUST have their permission to do so. If you decide to make up a Digimon, we would prefer it to be made by you.
character limits;; There is no set limit for how many characters you can have. However, we only recommend making only as many as you can handle. And remember: only ONE DIGIMON PER TAMER. A Tamer can only have one partner Digimon.
digivolution;; Digivolving will be occuring throughout the roleplay. However, we don't want it to get out of hand. Digivolution can't happen for no reason, and by no means are Digimon allowed to Digivolve into something they normally can't (i.e. - Agumon Digivolving into Leomon isn't allowed). It would be best if the Digimon Digivolved according to their primary lines. It's fine if they have more than one, but plan on sticking to one more than the other. To add on to this, the first time a Digimon digivoles into the next level - a blue card must be used. These are summoned with emotions(excluding anger and hatred as it summons a corrupted Digivolution) and also a truly good bond.
character creation;; While this is more of a policy than a rule, we expect characters to be at least 90% done before being roleplayed. We highly recommend finishing beforehand, however.
