Mikan chased after a small girl of about seven years. "Slow down Aiko-nee!" she called in Japanese, using the honorific for sister.
"Hai, Onee-chan!" Aiko responded, using the Japanese for "Yes big sister." Aiko stopped running and got onto a swing. They were in the park not too far from their new home. Mikan stopped and pressed her earpiece in more securely. She had found a set in a box of stuff as she was unpacking and gave Renamon the other. This way they could communicate while Renamon stayed in the shadows.
"Aiko-nee, you need to be more careful," Mikan scolded quietly.
"Sorry Mikan onee-chan," Aiko said quietly. "Push me?"
Mikan smiled slightly. "Sure," she said. The two knew Korean, but they preffered Japanese. Their parents spoke Japanese at home, sometimes on the phone if it was a Japanese person. The girls learned Japanese from their parents, and Korean from their peers and teachers. Mikan had been put into extra Korean classes because she moved from Japan, while Aiko was born in Korea.
After Aiko was swinging on her own, Mikan pulled out her digimon cards. She had won them in the competition a few weeks ago, and had found Renamon a few days later. No. Renamon had found her. Found her and protected her. And they'd stayed together, growing stronger as a team. Shortly after Aiko had found Nyaromon. Speaking of the little furball... Where'd he go?
"See anything?" Mikan asked Renamon. She looked up to the rooftops above them and saw a faint shadow of the fox-looking thing that was Renamon.
"No," Renamon said. "Nothing. At least, no wild ones. Keep an eye out though. Don't need a digi-tamer or wild one sneaking up on you."
"That's what I like about you," Mikan said with a smile. "You can sense other digimon and alert me. Besides, I don't want Aiko getting hurt." She looked back to her sister, who had gotten off the swing and was now at Mikan's bag.
"Behind you!" Renamon's voice said in Mikan's ear. Mikan turned and saw the person behind her.
"Who are you?" she asked in Korean. Aiko looked up when she heard Mikan's voice. It sounded harsher than Aiko was used to, which had surprised her.
"Hi!" Aiko said in Japanese. Then she remembered where they were and said it again in Korean. She pulled her arms out of the bag, pulling the little cat-like ball with ears and a tail out with then. "Nyaromon!" she said with a smile. "Play with me!"
"Nya!" went the little ball of fur. It was an in-training digimon, perfect for a tamer who was still learning.

How lucky could you be? Well, not so much. He had managed to get some numbers of some girls he had met at the convention, but besides that...Hiroshi managed to get his butt handed to him. To be honest, he didn't really care about his day until he had ran into Kai who had managed to go ape on him because the boy did not watch his words as carefully as he should of.
"Eh," he sighed as he put his hands into his pockets once more, "Could have been worse, I only ended up with a few scratches. I've seen what she's done to people before at school..."
As he continued down the street, he kicked a rock that had found its way in front of his shoe. The thoughts about the day continued to swirl around his head, he had lost to Mizuki, a girl who was the twin sister of a boy who he had been forced to study with. After launching out a few words that he couldn't care too much about, another girl from his school lashed out at him.
He was really having his ass kicked today, by females as well. Not that he gave a crap about that, to be exact. The only thing that he actually cared about truly was not being a failure...like that certain man he had hated. Of course.
A voice called out to him, and pulled him out of sudden thought.
"Er, why do I need to tell you? I am just trying to get by," he responded with a bored look on his face, "If you insist though, my name is Angeles Hiroshi."
"I hope she doesn't have anger problems or something, I don't want to go home with bruises or anything," he thought to himself as he watched the Digimon mew its words.
"H-hey, isn't that a Digimon? I remember it from the card!" he declared in Korean quietly as it demanded to play with him, "Are you one of those people who can project their voice from something else or is that a real Digimon?"
ooc: I lack muse for this dummy. :c

Mikan turned to Aiko and groaned. "I thought I told you to leave him at home?" she scolded in Japanese. Aiko looked at the floor, Nyaromon looking at the boy. Mikan sighed and put her finger on her earpiece. "False alarm," she said to Renamon through the earpiece.
"Good," Renamon replied. "I couldn't sense anything on him though."
"You could've told me that Nyaromon had come along," Mikan told Renamon. She looked at the boy again.
"That's my little sister," she said. "She's seven. Not old enough to have the skills of a..." She stopped, looking for the word. "Puppet-master." She couldn't think of the right word in Korean, so she decided on the next best. "You can't tell anyone about this..." She stopped and pressed a finger to her earpiece.
"Should you really be telling him?" Renamon questioned. "I mean, he doesn't seem bad, but..."
"I got this," Mikan said to Renamon. She turned back to the kid. "I'm Mikan. Siratobi Mikan." She had said her name in the traditional Japanese order by accident. "My sister's Aiko." Nyaromon's tail twitched and his eyes moved, giving him away as real. Mikan sighed. "I guess there's no point in hiding it from you now," she said. "Might as well come down here Renamon." As she said that, the fox-like digimon fell from the sky, landing on her feet. "This is Renamon. And that one there is Nyaromon. Renamon's a rookie-level, while furball over there is an in-training digimon."
"Hey!" called the furball indignantly. "I'm not a furball! Just wait till I digivolve into my rookie form! I'll be even cuter!"
"The furball's also a bit self-centered," Mikan added. "We moved into this part of town after a wild one destroyed our house. We're starting at.. At..." She stopped again, having forgotten the name of the school they were going to. "The all-grade school nearby. What about you?" Suddenly, a sharp chirp came from Mikan's pocket. She pulled out her digivice and her eyes widened.
"What's with this wacky reading?" she wondered before jumping into action. "Stay back. There's a wild one realizing now." She looked toward Aiko, who was back on the swings. "Aiko! Get over here now!" Aiko saw a bright flash of light and ran toward her sister. Renamon stood in front of the girls protectively, while Nyaromon was still in Aiko's hands.
"Get ready Renamon," Mikan said as the light got brighter. "This one's giving off some weird readings. It may just be from the realization, but..." She stopped as the digimon materialized. "This thing's not even a rookie-level. How'd it realize? Must be a weak spot in the bridge. Renamon, stand down. Let Nyaromon take care of it."
"Yay! I'll show you what I can do!" Nyaromon said excitedly before bouncing to the ground.

ooc: YAYAYAY WILD ONE REALIZING. c: I want Cutemon to appear, but I have to resist the urge until somewhere in the middle of roleplay.
NEVER MIND, SCREW URGES. bic: "I figured out that much," muttered Hiroshi as he watched the two tamers appear and explain their situation, "I go to the school around here too, I am close to the top of the class for my grade but I made a few mistakes here and there so that I wouldn't have to give that dingy speech."
As he watched the Digimon and their tamers talk amongst themselves, the boy let out a sigh. It had seemed that he couldn't be as lucky as the girl to receive a Digimon partner, he had sworn that he had seen a few real Digimon in the last hour but he tossed it off as just another event.
"Oh, I heard about that in the news a while back, it was like something from a horror movie," he said almost too quietly, "And, if you guys want to hide something from me, you should know that I am part Japanese and part Greek. Speaking in either one of those languages, well, it isn't going to be very secretive."
Letting out a sheepish grin that disguised his confusion, he pulled his hands out of his pocket to offer a handshake until the girl complained about her device going all crazy. Looking at Renamon, then back at the tamer...it seemed they had a telepathic connection almost. They could trust each other and communicate with ease, something that he was slightly envious about.
"Wild one...realizing?" Hiroshi exclaimed as he stepped back from the light in a defensive pose, "W-what the hell is going on here?"
As the light continue to glow, a happy looking Digimon came about from it. It was a light pink and seemed quite happy to be here as it was hopping about on the street, the boy was almost too glad that the street was nearly empty.
"Kyuuu, kyuuu!" it exclaimed as it bounced from foot to foot.
"Isn't that a Cutemon, it definitely isn't a rookie from what I remember from the card game. He's one of the weakest megas who has not too many fighting capabilities," he hastily added on to his declaration of confusion.
"Kyuuuu, kyuuuu!" it yelled in excitement.
ooc: Bwahahaha...? c: Oh, and...don't have Renamon evolve yet please. @_@ We need to get all the tamers together, in my opinion. XD
BWAHAHA, I LOVE CUTEMON. ;-; /slaps self.

OOC: I was gonna have Nyaromon digivolve into his rookie form.
BIC: Mikan let her digivice scan the wild one, a confused look on her face. "I'm getting barely rookie-level readings from this one... I guess we'll have to at least try to fight it off, no matter how cute it is. Ready sis?" She looked at Aiko, who nodded. "Renamon, let's do this." She looked at the boy quickly. "Sorry about that by the way. My family is from Japan, so it's a habit of ours."
Renamon jumped into the air, sending chrystal shards raining down on the Cutemon. "Galactica Magnum Tail!" cried Nyaromon. She jumped into the air and smacked the Cutemon with her tail, sending her back into the air. Renamon caught her before she fell.
"Nice catch Renamon," Mikan said. She fished into her pocket for a card and looked at her sister. Aiko nodded and held up a similar card. "Card slash!" they said simultaniously. "Power boost!" Their digi-partners glowed momentarily, then their attacks were powered up. When Nyaromon tried to go in for another attack, it was knocked down.
"Nyaromon!" Aiko cried. She ran over and picked up her partner. "I'm sorry Nyaromon..." she said quietly. Nyaromon bounced out of her hands and tried to attack again, only to be knocked down. "Nyaromon, stop!" Aiko called. "You can't beat it!"
"I have to try!" Nyaromon replied before going in for another attack.

ooc: You can still have her evolve, I mean...a rookie or in-training can't possibly defeat a mega. It might give her more power but yeah. ;-D
Responding naooo.

"Kyuuuuu!" the Digimon exclaimed as it pulled on its scarf with a slight smile, moving from foot to foot...it was ready to dodge any attacks was what it seemed like. As it was smashed backwards, it landed on both of its feet without a fail and began to hop like mad again.
"Uh, there's no point in trying to defeat something that you obviously can win against," Hiroshi tried to point out with a frown on his face. It was common sense, it was better to leave the damned creature alone. Who the hell care what it did? He surely didn't as it looked like some little kid would pick it up and take it home for a toy. Possibly it couldn't have any attacks that would be worthwhile for making complete chaos.
"Kyuuu!" it screeched as it waddled backwards, "Ultrasonic Wave!"
A loud sound came out of its mouth, the frequencies it came out of was deathly if heard for long enough. Hiroshi covered his ears, and then ducked down. Keep. Away. From. The. Hell. Creature.
This day was really going well, wasn't it? "Cover its mouth, or else we're going to explode because of the sound's frequencies!" he tried yelling as he cringed on the ground. Wonderful day, wasn't it?
"Kyuuu!" wailed the Digimon as it bounced again, its screech had ended and it continued to wander around. As it got closer to the tamers and the boy, it leaned towards the Nyaromon's face and then let out a squeal of joy. "Kyuuu, kyuuu!"
"Is that Digimon crazy or something? It looks like he only managed to get here to cause some ruckus," he said quietly as he backed away from it as it got closer.
"Kyuuu! Kyuu! Kyuu!" it yelled once again as Hiroshi fell backwards. Fear engulfed him, was it his last day of life? Or was he just going to get beat down by one of the cutest Digimon he had ever seen in the card game? It couldn't end this way, could it?
A mega level, the two Digimon couldn't even save him...unless some kind of miracle occurred.

Mikan fell to her knees when the wild digimon screached. She let out an involuntary groan, then looked over at Aiko. Aiko was still standing, fingers in her ears, looking at her partner with consorn and worry. Her face took on a determined look, and she moved one of her hands to the card holder on her hip. She drew out a card that wasn't entirely what she was looking for. It was a blue card with a small green figure on it. She pulled out her digivice with her other hand. Mikan watched, stunned into stillness more effectively than the screach.
"Card slash!" Aiko cried, a single tear trickleing down her cheek for Nyaromon's pain. Nyaromon started to glow when Aiko slashed the card. Aiko, realizing what was going on, cried, "Digivolution!"
"Nyaromon digivolve to..." started the little cat-like furball. She started to glow brighter. Legs formed. Her tail shrank until it became part of her again. The ears changed from cat-like and pointy to dog-like and floppy, moving from the top of her head to the sides. "Salamon!" she finished. The glow faded, leaving a peach-colored puppy where the ball with ears and a tail had been. Finally she had taken on her novice form. But... Would it be enough to beat this tiny terror?
Renamon was incapasitated by the shreaking of the wild digimon, but Salamon was determined to overcome this. "Puppy bark!" she said before giving a sharp yap into the wild digimon's face, startling it and cutting off the shriek.
"Renamon!" Mikan called, getting to her feet. "Are you alright?"
"I've been better," Renamon responded, getting up herself. She had been in the air when the wild one started screaching and crashed into a nearby tree. "Can we take this one?"
"It's readings are low," reminded Mikan. "But... I'm not sure this one's meant to be a fighter. I think it's just an incapasitator. It freezes it's enemies with that shriek while another digimon would attack from behind, or just back it up. Maybe with Nyaromon digivolved into Salamon, we can defeat this..." She looked at the boy. "You're probably wondering why we're fighting this when we most likely won't win. There's an easy answer. You can never tell what a digimon will do once it's realized." She sighed. "After this, I'll explain everything. Just get back and stay out of the way." Of course, if this thing chooses him, that'll be a problem... she finished silently. "Renamon! Aiko! Salamon! You ready?"
"Yep!" Aiko said back.
"You bet!" Salamon barked.
"Of course," Renamon replied.

"You learn something new everyday," muttered the tamer with a bit of amusement hidden in his voice as he saw the Digimon change and transform to something else in front of his eyes. It was something new and exciting, he couldn't help but be amazed honestly.
"Kyuuuu!" the Digimon screeched as it backed up slowly some more. Where was he? Was this a new game that the Digignomes wanted him to play? Yes? Oh, he'd love to play! After wards, they would probably bring him home and reward him with a little feast. Cutemon was a master of games, he would not definitely loose one...even if it did include fighting.
A small smile protruded across the pink creature's face, if only he could...
"If you can hear I, Cutemon, he thought to himself as he tried to send some kind of telepathic message that would fail, "Then let's let the games begin! Kyuuu! I shall not loose! I'm the master of games!"
"You guys are insane still," the boy added on as he looked back at the girl, "The basic rules of the card game should apply to here! You obviously know that no matter how many rookies and modifications you toss at a mega...they won't win unless you want to do some kind of sacrificial battle! You'll just get hurt even more. The best thing we can do is hope for someone to come along and stop this Digimon. There probably more tamers out there, if you guys are tamers honestly."
Book smart, street smart, and Digimon smart. The only thing he lacked was the way to back it up, he lacked experience. There was no way that the two girls would listen to him as he did not have his own partner or was not a tamer.
"There was no way I could prepare to this," he thought to himself with a frown as the Digimon continued to let out high frequency screeches, "Maybe we can trap it with some kind of building, or isolate it until the authorities come!
What could they do to stop the creature from rampaging wild?
"I got a plan that might work, it won't defeat the thing but it definitely will trap it. Do you want to listen?" Hiroshi asked as he looked at the two sisters. What else could he do? He was not the one in charge obviously, the only thing he could offer was a plan that could possibly fail and kill them all.
Ah, just wonderful.

"Hold on..." Mikan said quietly. She studied the movements of the mega-level digimon, watching as it's eyes darted around. She took her digivice and punched some buttons, opening a translation program that she had managed to instal a few days before. She aimed the scanner at the Cutemon and let the translation program sync up with the digimon. The translation wasn't clear, but it did have something to do with a game and something called a digignome...
"Renamon!" Mikan called to her partner. "What's a digignome?"
"They tend to hide from digimon," Renamon said from above. "In-training and rookie level digimon tend to play with them."
"There are digignomes around here?!" Salamon asked excitedly. "Where?" She started sniffing around, then got closer to the cutemon. She stopped and tilted her head, eyes locked with the cutemon.
"Wait a sec..." Aiko said. "Don't digimon come here for a reason?"
"That's right..." Mikan agreed. "I can't believe I forgot that..." She started thinking when Hiroshi said he had an idea.
"So do I," Mikan said to him, "but let's hear yours first, Hiroshi-kun."

"My plan is really basic, it's elementary school stuff. Well, let's just say my little sister is intrigued with capturing animals," he responded as he put a hand behind his head. Modestly blushing, he looked back to the Digimon who continued to move around back and forth - avoiding the Salamon's gaze.
"We bring it the construction site down the road, it's blocked off but the people have left to go home. Let's say we can get it there," he continued to say as he brought out a map from his bag that sat happily on his back.
Pointing at the construction site on the map, he looked back at the two girls, "There are a lot of things that can be knocked down in there, I'm not exactly innocent...I snuck around there once or twice as a dare."
The boy let out a small laugh, then looked back at the Digimon who seemingly begun his actual rampage. He began to let high frequencies in short amounts out of his mouth to destroy windows.
Uh, they better get out of there quickly or get blamed for vandalism.
"Bring it in there, set up a trap while one of your Digimon distract the Cutemon. Then we lure it into the trap," he began to say with a more excited note, "Have Renamon knock down the surrounding area, and...we can catch it."
If something did go wrong, they honestly could die. But there were bigger problems he faced in life, this was just a small fry compared to it actually.

"There has to be a better way," Mikan said quietly. "Renamon's already pretty badly injured as is. I'm not going to tell her to go knocking stuff over." As she was speaking, Renamon was thrown nearby by one of the cutemon's screaches. "Renamon!" Mikan broke from the group and ran to Renamon. She dropped to her knees next to her partner. "Renamon, stop this... Please... I don't want you to dissappear..." A single tear fell down her cheek. Renamon struggled into a sitting position.
"We can't beat this... This thing," Renamon said quietly. "We should retreat for now."
"Can you move?" Mikan asked. "Can you stand?" Renamon slowly stood. "Maybe... Maybe some stronger tamer will be able to take care of this thing..." Mikan said quietly. Aiko walked up to Mikan, remembering something.
"If Renamon doesn't get loaded into another digimon, she'll just be an egg, right?" Aiko asked, sounding like a more experianced tamer and an older girl.
"That's right... So will Salamon..." Mikan realized. Renamon reached down and held out a hand to her partner, helping the girl up. Mikan noticed something in the way the cutemon was moving. "Hiroshi-kun!" she called. "Try to talk to the Cutemon! You may be able to get it to calm down enough to understand us!" Mikan turned to Aiko, who had Salamon at her heels. "Salamon, I want you to keep an eye on Cutemon. If it looks like it will strike, use your puppy bark, alright?"
"You got it!" Salamon said.
"You ready Hiroshi-kun?" Mikan asked, turning to him.

"Oh," he responded as he turned a bright pink as he noticed the Digimon was injured more physically than what the eyes actually saw. With a sheepish grin, he then nodded when Renamon brought up the words of not being the creature. Of course. He was right after all, even a tiny mega would demolish the strongest and biggest rookie. It was common sense, after all. Size didn't mean anything.
Of course, the reading didn't really help him prove his case.
"Talk to that Digimon?" he exclaimed with an unhappy expression on his face. There was no way he would talk to a pink, little bunny that had the destructive power of a bomb. It was like talking to a wall. The wall would not listen or budge any more.
Er...maybe an explosive, not a wall.
But before he could say anything, Hiroshi knew the girls were set on this plan. They had no other choice(and he hoped that his partner would actually be Patamon like from the Digimon Adventure series that turned into something cool. Not a mega that looked like a rookie), and this Digimon wasn't very aggressive to begin with.
And he wouldn't die, he had something to live for. Hiroshi had to prove himself somehow.
"Okay then," he agreed softly as he looked back at the girls. This was the only thing he could do, right? Some depended on him in the past, but he had always fallen short.
This was it, wasn't it?
"Uhmm...hi Cutemon!" he rasped quietly as the words barely came out of his mouth. The creature gave him a look that almost said that he was going to pull another prank.
"Y'know, you're hurting my friends and my home. And I don't think you would like someone to hurt your friends and home too," he began to say quickly, the words poring out of his mouth.
"And if you hurt my friends," he responded as he dropped down to the Digimon as he stopped hopping about, "I'll make sure you pay for it, okay?"
"Kyuuu!" Cutemon growled as it backed up a bit from the boy. He was just playing a game - a game he would surely win. Besides, he would just...load the data of the losers. Fair deal, right?
Standing back up and putting his hands within his pockets once more, he tried to put on a slight smile. Nothing else to do, but make a contract and promise. "Cutemon. You, me. Let's be partners. I'll take you around Seoul, and get you some food. Just stop making so much trouble."
And the words he had never anticipated coming to his mind...came out. He didn't exactly like the idea of Cutemon being his partner, but the city of Seoul had slowly become his home. There was no way he would let this creature take over and destroy it.
It had healed his wounds from the past, and made him stronger. He had something to protect for once.
"Kyuu...?" mewed the Digimon as he hopped onto the boy's head without hesitation. Food? Tour? Sure, it was just like a game. Partners...not so much, but it would satiate him for now.
With a small smile that was true growing on Hiroshi's face, he looked up to the Digimon for a moment. He had saved something precious to himself; he was worthy of something for once. A new friend or a temporary tamer and partner relationship, whatever it was...it felt perfect.
A light white glowing object began to appear before the boy. It slowly revealed a familiar device.
"Wait, what?" Hiroshi said with a bit of shock revealed in his voice. It couldn't be...
Putting his hand out to catch the device, it slowly drifted into his hand. Was he really a tamer now? No, no...
But it was true, a digivice now sat in his hand.

Mikan watched in amazement as a light desended toward Hiroshi, then realized what was happening. "Welcome to the force," she said, quoting an American movie her parents had watched once. She had only overheard that line before her parents had caught her and sent her to bed, insisting that it wasn't a movie for little kids.
"Nya!" Salamon cried. The noise made Mikan and Aiko laugh. Salamon looked at them with questioning eyes. "What'd I do?"
"You look like a dog now," Mikan explained. "Cats go 'nya.'"
"Puppies go woof!" Aiko said suddenly, acting once again like her seven-year-old self. "I got a puppy!"
Mikan laughed again, then turned to Renamon. "You alright?" she asked.
Renamon nodded slowly. "It will take me a while to fully regain my strength," she said quietly. "However, I will be fine."
"Yogata," Mikan breathed, slipping into Japanese accidentally. "I'm glad you're alright." Then, Mikan turned back to Hiroshi.
"You've got yourself a partner," she said. "Lucky for you, it looks like a common house pet, like Salamon here. Your parents shouldn't get top suspiscious about it. I mean, civilians like our parents just wouldn't understand. They'd say we were imagining things, making stuff up." She stopped here, and Renamon looked down at her partner worriedly.
"I don't like keeping secrets from my parents..." Mikan admitted. "The only reason I keep Renamon from them is because they may be targeted if they know too much... I mean, there must be something, or someone, behind these digimon realizing into this world. Something like Cutemon, or Salamon here, wouldn't be smart enough to realize on their own." At this, an indignant noise was heard from the puppy at Aiko's feet. "They could've just gotten lucky, sure, but Salamon's been Nyaromon for a long time."
Mikan looked up to the sky, then sighed and looked at Hiroshi. "I'm gonna have to teach you the basics of real life digimon," she said. "You've got a digivice now. You're bound to your partner. Most likely until we figure out the cause of the gap in the bridge between worlds. Hopefully... Hopefully you won't have to experiance the grey screen..." This got even Aiko quiet, who realized the severity of the words from Mikan's speech.
